Ladies and gentlemen; hello! Welcome back! How y’all doing? I’ve been away for some time on this blog. Sometimes a break is what is needed to regroup, reset, recharge and get yourself together. So much has changed and so much has happened in the last few months all I can say is that sis is tired (i am sis) but when you’re chasing your dreams there’s not much time to be idle. On most days I just want to crawl in bed and put my to-do list aside but then I remind myself of my goals that I’m trying to achieve and quickly get my act together. I feel like going on a rant about adulting but we’re not doing that today ok! lol. Instead I would like to introduce you to Les DIMES. Are you ready? Grab a seat, let me tell you all about Les DIMES.

Les DIMES which stands for DARING INTELLIGENT MOTIVATED EXTRAORDINARY SEXY was founded in June 2021 by Daphney of Daphney Paul LLC. We were a group of acquaintances that would party and attend events together. Here I found myself in yet another group chat, y’all know what it’s like being in group chats; it’s hard to keep up sometimes. Our group formerly known as The Lit Group became Les DIMES after brainstorming on what we wanted to call ourselves, we saw that we could be a bigger force than just being party buddies shutting the scenes down. What started off as a group of 11, Les DIMES now consist of 10 bosses who own individual businesses. Some of the words that describe us as individuals are: strong, generous, optimistic, ambitious, fierce, confident, ambivert, straightforward, visualizer and creative. Les DIMES bosses include: a singer, a model, entrepreneurs, an event assistant, a marketing consultant, hair stylists and a DJ to name a few. Overall, we are a group of multi talented women.

Being in Les DIMES is both rewarding and can be challenging but pushes me to put my best foot forward. Imagine 10 bosses with different businesses, responsibilities, obligations, personalities etc. coming together to create and coexist together. I think that’s epic! Let alone being Black, Haitian and women in the industry. We uplift each other, we cry together, we laugh together, bump heads, at the end of the day we make up and get back to business.

What is Les DIMES

We are a group of business women coming together to achieve something greater. We are a community, a sisterhood, where individual bosses connect to achieve many goals, contributing our energy and resources to help everyone succeed. At Les DIMES we are event planners, we are hostesses, plus more.
