I haven't been on the ground looking for new jazz creations but I'm so grateful for the sure luck of finding this masterpiece. I'm a lover of Nina Simone, Anita Baker, Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. I love my blues singers and jazz musicians of old. This album is an introduction to Lady Blackbird for me. The initial track is a remake of a wonderful classic, Blackbird, and let's just say, that got me hooked. The album runs for less than 50 minutes and I'm always disappointed when I reach the the last track, Black Acid Soul.

This album is such a vibe. Beware jamming to this while driving. I can't help but close my eyes and feel the wonderful artistry. Lady Blackbird's vocals are superb, gut wrenching yet beautiful. The musicians are top notch!
