V-Lure Designs by Voltaire

I landed my first brand ambassador position and I am so excited. In the beginning of the year when I was writing in my manifestation journal, brand ambassador was one of the many things I had on my list. I had applied to be a brand ambassador for two other companies earlier in the year and I didn’t make the list because of the amount of followers I had at the time. I was a bit disappointed but that’s just how it goes, you have to meet certain requirements. When I saw that V-Lure designs by Voltaire were looking for ambassadors I was hesitant to apply out of fear that I wouldn’t get chosen again, but I still submitted an application and left it at that.

On October 22,2020 I received an email, when I opened it I was shocked and screaming (internally) with excitement. I was chosen to be a brand ambassador and attached to the email was the contract. I made sure to read everything and that I understood what I was signing my life away to. The contract was easy to read and straight to the point. The same day, I printed out, signed and returned the contract. The next step was to send a headshot, I made sure to send a most recent professional looking shot that I took myself. once everything was processed, a welcome meeting was held where I had the chance to meet the other brand ambassadors. It was such a welcoming experience and we are all excited about being ambassadors for V-Lure Design by Voltaire.

A short background of V-Lure Design, established in 2014 and is black owned by Stephanie Voltaire. In 2014, Stephanie Voltaire decided to use the sewing skills that she acquired as a child to develop a hobby. She decided to use her roommate's sewing machine to recall the skills that she gained from her mother years ago. She took it upon herself to make a clutch! After trial and error she made her very first clutch! After thinking, brainstorming, and praying, she decided to take a leap of faith. V-Lure Designs was born in spring of 2014 in Stephanie's apartment. V-Lure, Designs by Voltaire is a line of handmade handbags for the everyday fashionable woman.

On the website you can find different items from different collections like clutches that are made in Haiti by local artists, curated by Voltaire collection, you’ll find a collection of cloth masks and clutches handmade by Ms. Voltaire herself.
